For the launch of Airbnb’s new vertical “Experiences”, as a part of Facebook’s Creative Shop, I created a unique first-person global campaign. Using Facebook LIVE, we took audiences to six international cities, on five continents, over 24 hours to connect with other travelers through Airbnb. Viewers could see what it was like to make a performance art project in Paris or go to an underground dance battle in Seoul. As the action unfolded live, audiences were further immersed in the experience by having their comments from the Facebook platform appear in the story on-screen, as it was being told.
Managing a team of over twenty people, and the client relationship, I shaped the stories and scripts, established a communications process, as well as coordinated all elements of the production. Directed by Austin Peters alongside Radical Media, we had over 6million participants join us for this mobile video adventure.
